This was an international collaboration.

We are two men previously from Canada (the Smiling Wilderness).
We make this music for OURSELVES first and for you second.
Is that selfish? You may value it as you see fit.
Create what you feel is lacking in the world and then
you can stop complaining about it. We don't want to hear about the
old days. Everybody has a different old day. Today will be
hideously old soon soon soon.
METAPHOR: Everything you know can fit in a small bag.
That bag is inside another bag which is itself inside another.
Who is holding this larger bag; who holds the bag they are in?
Like ill-considered groceries we are carried who knows where.
An adequate meal will be prepared and we will be mostly consumed.
PROSAIC TRUTH: This record is about Michael McLean who always
keeps his things in a series of bags, the outer of which is waterproof.
We can learn something from him, one way or another. It is funny
to watch him try to find a pen.
