ZACHT AUTOMAAT is back in performance mode for the summer! We just played a NXNE daytime show and UNAFFILIATED 1 on Toronto Island at Gibraltar Point Artscape (both on the same day). It was great! Michael McLean arrived in Toronto Friday evening and we played Sunday at 1:00 and again at 10:30! Our good friend and forgiving drummer Louis Percival practiced with us only once, and did a heroic job learning new material and reviewing older tunes. We don't really give him a chance to rehearse but he always does an amazing job (and tolerates our squabbling). Grasshopper shot some video but it is stuck on his phone at the moment, I will try to get some of that later (if we sound good).
